What problems will high temperature affect the LED display?

(1) As the temperature increases, the concentration of electrons and holes increases, the band gap decreases, ​kingtech  ,and the electron mobility decreases.

(2) As the temperature increases, the radiative recombination probability of electrons and holes in the potential well decreases, resulting in non-radiative recombination (generating heat), thereby reducing the internal quantum efficiency of the LED display.

(3) The increase in temperature causes the blue light peak of the chip to shift to the long wave direction, which makes the emission wavelength of the chip do not match the excitation wavelength of the phosphor, and also reduces the white LED display with external light extraction efficiency.

(4) As the temperature increases, the quantum efficiency of the phosphor decreases, the light output decreases, and the external light extraction efficiency of the LED display decreases.
